This summer, Home Base Awesome Kids finished writing their second book, Out the Window. This new book is a book of poetry celebrating the promise of personal discovery, hope, and dreams, written to raise funds for the Village on Stilts in Ghana, Africa.
Sales of Out the Window kicked of with a book signing and poetry reading by the authors on June 4th at the Side Street Cafe in downtown Anchorage. Thanks to book sales and donations, Home Base Awesome Kids was able to purchase new doors for the Village on Stilts schoolhouse.
