MAGICAL MASKS
Home Base Awesome Kids have written a 32 page children's book called Magical Masks. The book recounts the exciting adventures of Sarah and Jordan, twins adopted from an orphanage in Africa. They visit an Eskimo village in Northwest and a Tlingit village in Southeast Alaska. Magical Masks allows the reader to see through the children’s lenses as they experience aspects of the various cultures.
Three hundred copies of Magical Masks were published, read, and given to African students at elementary, middle, and high schools and at orphanages throughout Ghana.
Copies of Magical Masks are available for sale at GrassRoots Fair Trade Store, 1300 W. Northern Lights Blvd., Anchorage, Alaska. For more information, call GrassRoots at (907) 929-5835.
